Grooming FAQ

Have questions? We have answers. Check out our most commonly asked grooming questions.

We require Bordetella, Rabies, Distemper, and Canine influenza.

Your pup will be with us approximately 5 hours for typical services. There is the option to expedite the process for a fee of $20 if you schedule your groom first thing in the morning and let us know when you schedule.

Your dog will either be on the table, in the tub or in a crate. Our pups are always supervised & given potty breaks if needed.

Over 75 years of combined experience.

One of the most important parts of the grooming process is preventing anxiety. We recommend early & frequent exposure. Practice makes perfect! The more chances we have to get to know each other the more comfortable your dog will be. If your dog has a history of grooming anxiety we will work with you one on one to find a solution that best works for your pup. Each dog is different & has a different set of needs. We strive to make every experience each dog has here to be a positive one.

Currently we use a variety of Bark-2-Basic brand Shampoos and Conditioners.

Older pups often need special care & attention.

We recommend the style of hair cut be kept short and easy to maintain to keep the grooming time to a minimum.

Depending on the breed and preferred style every 4-6 weeks is recommended.

For doodles and non shedding breeds, to maintain a longer trim every 4 weeks is required.

For shorter shaves on doodles or other non shedding breeds 8-12 weeks is acceptable.

Tips are appreciated and distributed to all of our workers.

This is not permitted. It is very disruptive to the process and can lead to safety concerns.
